Refunds
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated 17 July 2026
This policy explains when refunds are available and how cancellation works. It applies together with our Terms & Conditions. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
1. The nature of what you buy
Regulatory Radar is a monthly subscription service (AUD $199/month (incl. GST)). You start with a 7-day free trial and, unless you cancel during the trial, your subscription converts to a paid monthly subscription billed monthly in advance until you cancel. There is no setup fee.
2. Free trial
Your card is collected at signup but you are not charged during the 7-day free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, your access stops and you are not charged.
3. Monthly subscription
(a) You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you are not charged again after that.
(b) Because the subscription is billed monthly in advance, we do not provide part-month refunds for the current period when you cancel, except where the ACL requires otherwise.
(c) When your subscription ends, your access to the service ends. Your account records are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
4. Major failures and your ACL rights
If there is a major failure with our service, or our service is not provided with due care and skill or is not reasonably fit for a purpose you told us about, you may be entitled to a remedy under the ACL, including a refund in appropriate cases. These rights cannot be excluded and are preserved by this policy; if anything in this policy is inconsistent with the ACL, the ACL prevails.
5. How to request a refund or cancel
You can cancel from within the platform at any time. To request a refund or ask about cancellation, contact us at hello@regulatoryradar.com.au with your account details. We aim to acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days and to process approved refunds to your original payment method within a reasonable time.
